Rainmaking began in the ancient tribal traditions of indigenous peoples — prayers and ceremonies to bring rain when it was most needed and keep it away during times of celebration. It was never just about the rain. It was about calling in what was needed and wanted, and in doing so, recognizing that stronger forces and divine intelligence was and is always available to assist anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Around 60 years ago the American establishment took hold of this term, narrowed and limited its understanding and in so doing, it became a promotional business term and a metaphor. Rainmakers were perceived as “salesmen,” “agents,” “producers” — people who brought in the business, got clients to the law firm or got a film financed. And while these very people are Rainmakers, people who make and deliver commitments are Rainmakers. People who make and deliver promises are Rainmakers. People who call in the rain and it appears are Rainmakers. So what is it really about?
When someone contributes ideas, direction, logistics and solutions and delivery happens — this too is Rainmaking. When a healer works with people to heal and healing happens Rainmaking has happened. This capacity lives in far more people than has ever been recognized.
From Them. Through Them. And Whatever the Delivery Requires.
There is a displaced understanding of causation operating in our world. People with big money, power and authority often believe that from them, things happen. That they are the source. That their force, their capital, their authority is what delivers the results. This is not necessarily the full reality of Rainmaking. This is a mechanistic approach and a kind of equational capture at the level of belief about making things happen via the human will.
A true Rainmaker becomes a sacred space, a vibrational resonance through which Delivery moves. Not necessarily from them but through them. And through whatever the Delivery is requiring for its fulfillment. The distinction sounds like a play on words, but it’s really not. It changes everything about how one operates, what becomes possible, and what you are actually part of in the realm of causation.
Delivery. Not Just Delivering.
Rainmakers are known as people who deliver results. They are also people who make and deliver commitments. And while everyone brings in some kind of results daily and to some extent, they are people who are in touch with something inside them that knows that they have causal capabilities. They have what I call Recognized Delivery Access. In each of us, Delivery Access may or may not be recognized and therefore are not fully utilized.
There is a whole other realm of what becomes possible when someone stops being the doer and becomes the space in which something happens. This does not necessarily mean that they are part of a team or are directing a team. There is no training for this and very limited understanding or experience of it anywhere. This course is this understanding.
Consider the entertainment industry — an industry that has relied on parasitic mechanisms and standards to bring films and television programming into existence. Independent filmmakers and creators are being forced to move away from the studio system en masse. AI is accelerating it and the instruments, mechanisms and way the system works actually limits the creative properties that can be delivered. The entire architecture of studio financing, distribution and monetization will be forced to transition into not just new frontiers, but totally different ways of bringing successful new content into the existing markets. Operating at this level is not about making one film. It’s about opening up entirely new pathways for creative works, financing, distribution and contracts to usher in a whole new wave of artists and creators. Not just for one project. Setting these conditions into being is also an example of Rainmaking.
Those at work on this may or may not ever be seen. They may not even be alive when it fully arrives. Yet, they will have delivered the conditions anyway.
The idea of establishing conditions is as important as the delivery of any project, business, invention, industry, or creative work.
The Most Disruptive Moment in Modern History
AI will invoke one of the biggest job losses in US history — jobs that will not return as we know them. At this disruptive time, the faster we develop and hone these abilities, the faster new income streams can appear in what seems like out of nowhere. Opportunities will emerge that we have not yet imagined as the system we have grown to rely on dissolves.
The people who activate and strengthen this innate capacity now will be the ones who will be able to successfully navigate the shocking multifaceted changes that are on the horizon for our world and be able to be instrumental in what matters most about how Global Systemic Transition unfolds and impacts all of us.
What Rainmaking Is Not
Rainmaking is generative. It does no harm to communities, agriculture, air, water and nature. It does not deplete the life force and destroy the living conditions and well-being of the environment or of beings.
Who This Is For
You already carry this capacity. You were born with it. These sessions do not make you a Rainmaker. They activate, enhance and strengthen what is already within you and serve to unblock whatever might be in the way of developing this part of you more fully.
